We arrived at 6:00 PM and found no one at the desk, but an envelope with our name on it contained the keys and info. we needed. The inn is beautifully updated. If you are into character and charm, you will enjoy it. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have any hot water (barely luke warm) and the tv was smaller than a computer monitor. Also, the noise from the street was terrible. The walls are thin. There were drunk people talking loudly in the street below in the middle of the night (I'm assuming patrons of the bar downstairs waiting for a ride). The lack of hot water and the noise were deal breakers for us. We were just passing through on a road trip, so just wanted hot showers, quiet and tv to wind down. The town itself looks charming, but since we were just passing through, we were gone before any of the of the stores opened in the morning. We were thankful that there was coffee, donuts, yogurt, cereal and fruit available early.
