This is a lovely old inn with lots of charm. The setting is perfect and the outdoor seating very nice. Morning coffee service was good. Front desk was friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor with very low ceilings. I suspect we got a lesser room because we booked through a 3rd party. While the bed was very comfortable, overall our room needed an overhaul. I was able to view a few other rooms on floor below us and they were much nicer. Ask for a room on first or second floor.

We liked EVERYTHING! The room was lovely, we enjoyed the continental breakfasts & wine happy hours, and EVERYONE was lovely. We'll defintely be back if Circus Smirkus 🎪 comes to Simsbury again! THANKS!!

This home is beautiful and historic. The beds might need to be updated. Theyre saggy and very firm. However the staff was so accommodating to help make the bed softer. I appreciated their willingness to help make me more comfortable
