5 minutes walk from the beach, this newly renovated and extended family holiday home has loads of space and different areas to suit all family members, with extensive kid friendly gardens.
The house is set in a great location that is easy walking distance to cafes, beaches and shops, and Peel Estuary.
There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 living areas, a renovated kitchen and great outdoor spaces, suitable for entertaining.
Downstairs is a large open plan kitchen/dining/living room with a large family size dining table and extra chairs, kids play area, reverse cycle air conditioner and ceiling fan. It opens out onto a covered outdoor area with BBQ and outdoor setting, and an outdoor shower for washing down after a trip to the beach.
3 bedrooms downstairs, each with a ceiling fan. 2 bedrooms are doubles, 1 bedroom has bunk beds.
There is a family bathroom downstairs, shower only. Laundry with washing machine and separate toilet are downstairs.
Also downstairs at the other end of the house is a games room which has a double sofa bed, pool table, dart board, smart TV and loads of boards games and books, as well as a reverse cycle air conditioner.
Upstairs is another living/dining area with reverse cycle air conditioner, ceiling fan, smart TV, kitchenette, separate bathroom and toilet and a queen bedroom.
The upstairs living area opens out onto a generous deck with a view to the whole large family backyard, with established gardens, lawn and swings for kids.
The front yard is also kid friendly with a sandpit and toys and is fully fenced.
There are several cafes and restaurants nearby and a tavern, shopping centre and fast food outlets, all within walking distance of the property. Also nearby is a fantastic golf course and the Peel Estuary for crabbing and boating.
This home has been in the family for generations, lived in and loved by different family members over the years.
We also have a family of Tawny Frog mouth hidden in the back yard trees. See if you spot them, but please don't disturb them.

Amazing recharging stay
We really enjoyed the huge space. The outside garden was beautiful and a nice place for us to chill and relax. In the evening, the games room was a blast for the boys. My only complaint is that the photographs on the website do not do justice and it is so much more of a hidden gem. Would love to come back again.

Return visitors - another great stay!
This is our second time staying at this property. Both times we have travelled with another family as the property caters well for children, especially the amazing back yard. It's very tranquil, close to the beach and a nice get away without having to spend hours in the car. If we stay again we will hopefully get the upstairs bedroom, we have left lucked out both times.

Fantastic Stay for Families
This place was just perfect to share with other families. A great location within walking distance to beach and easy drive to the shops. It was comfortable and well equipped with anything you needed thanks to the very welcoming and generous hosts. The backyard alone gave adults and kids alike, many hours of enjoyment! We spent two week overs Easter and the school holidays with our children and grandchildren at the house. It is an excellent family oriented house. Our 3 year old grandson loved the with swings and sand pit. It is a short walk to the beach, and close to lots of other amenities. There are books, games and pool table available. Also a good BBQ and outside entertaining area.Loved it.

Beautifully located and wonderful set up for families
The property is close to a lovely beach and has fabulous big yard for kids. The owners have left loads of books and games plenty to entertain the little ones. There is also a pool table and darts for the adults. The house was very clean and tidy and well cared for. We didn’t feel like we needed to go anywhere was lovely for a long weekend stay to enjoy time together with friends. Thanks for the wonderful stay 🙏🏽

Perfect Family Home
Wonderful for all ages. Spacious house with a fabulous very large back yard. Little ones played on the swings and in the sandpit, adults relaxed on the deck, BBQ'ed and played pool and darts in the games room. Beach was beautiful and protected making it ideal for young chidren. A family home that has been cared for and was beautifully presented.
