The Lewington Beach Retreat is a cosy 2 bedroom Duplex within walking distance to the beach with foreshore playgrounds and BBQ areas. Sandy bush trails just across the road. Cafe's and Restaurants and IGA supermarket 1km along the foreshore walking and bike path.

Amenities include lounge with colour TV, DVD, (NO WiFi, Relax and detox), reverse cycle air-conditioning and sofa bed to fit any extras.

The modern kitchen has an oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer and all the extra little things you need to cook up a feast if you so wish. Light up the BBQ in the courtyard and wine and dine under the shade sail, or just kick back and relax while the kids play in the fully fenced yard.

The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed with a cosy touch, whilst the second bedroom is fitted out with a bunk and a single bed all the pillows and linen you need.
The fully equipped Laundry will give you that extra time to sit and relax.
Off street parking with room for cars and a boat undercover is also a must.

We want you to have such a good time with us that you will keep coming back, so have added little extras like Boogie Boards and bikes for the kids, books, dvd's and lots more all designed to help you sit back, put your feet up and relax.

Location:
The city of Rockingham is only 40 minutes south of Perth right on the coast. Rockingham is a popular tourist destination with its beautiful beaches, water sports and many shops and cafes. Garden Island, Penguin Island and Seal Island are very close by and provide excellent day trips to see the local wildlife on and surrounding the islands.

Rockingham is known as "Your Aquatic Playground", and a whole range of water activities are available in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.

Activities to do whilst in Rockingham

Whether you wish to lounge about on the beach, go sailing, fishing, ride a jet ski, have a swim with the dolphins or just sit in one of the many cafes or restaurants on the boardwalk sipping cappuccinos then this is the place for you.

If this isn't for you then you could just step out the front door and cross the quiet street into Lewington Reserve where you could walk, throw a frisbee or just kick a footy around.

So as you can see, there is plenty to do (or not do) around Rockingham.

On the positive side, location of the house is awesome, check in was easy. Has washing machine and dryer. Beds were ok. Had o have a bucket of water everytime we went to the toilet as the flushing water was to minimal amount. Blanket in our room had a hole in it. Kitchen is not modern as described however very functional. The house was clean however very very dusty. The blinds were dusty and dirty. Our queen size bed was dusty all over and specially behind it.

Convenient Location
My partner and I brought our 2 dogs for a week and a half stay at this property. The location was great, super close to the beach and walking tracks which our dogs loved, along with the big backyard. Had everything we needed and we had a great stay.

A very welcome ‘port in a storm’ while supporting our family with medical needs after hospital trip for our grandchild. This accommodation provided a safe place to relax and had everything we needed. Really perfect little place to stay at, had everything needed. Loved the carport for my big cars and the front gates were a good feature. Plenty of room for my dogs to run and play. Inside was well set out and furnished, very comfortable with air-conditioning and heater. Will definitely stay there again.

Easter Stay
Great location for a beautiful walk along the beach. Was very quiet. What you see in the photos is absolutely what you get. However, the lounge room smelt and although the add said there was WiFi access there was not. Only unfortunate as I had 2 uni students keeping up with lectures and assignments, which normally would be fine as we all have phones to hotspot but internet access was terrible. Hosts were great and accommodating.

Great location and perfect for your furry friend
The property is in a great spot a short walk from the dog beach and not far from the main Rockingham strip. Good comms from the owners. It was great to have somewhere we could take the dog with a backyard for him to run around in and it was easy to clean up after him with a plentiful supply of poo bags. The place itself is looking a little tired, it needs a good spring clean. The laundry tap was still dripping - we put the bucket underneath to catch the water. There was no HDMI cord to connect the DVD player to the TV. A few small things like a box of tissues or paper towel would have been nice, but had everything else we needed otherwise, kitchen reasonably equipped etc. Thanks for having us stay!
