PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING.

Spacious 750-square-foot unit located in a quiet neighborhood among many charming historical homes. You have complete privacy with your own entrance. The lively downtown area is just an 8-minute stroll on foot where you'll find many great restaurants and bars, shopping, coffee houses, and art galleries. Besides exploring historic Petaluma, you can use this as your home-base for wine and brewery tours as well as coastal day trips.
The space
Our home was built in 1900 but has been extensively remodeled to provide modern day creature comforts. This charming and newly updated unit is the first floor/walkout basement of our primary residence. It's quite spacious at about 750 square feet! It has a full kitchen with all new cabinets, appliances, etc. It's fully stocked with essentials for cooking and baking or just making coffee or storing newly purchased wine in the fridge.

Please note: due to the age of the home and the fact that there are 2 additional living areas above the flat, you may occasionally hear the sound of water running, footsteps, and appliances like the washer and dryer as it's virtually unavoidable in a historical home like ours. There's are also 2 pumps in a locked closet that do run occasionally at random times.
Guest access
You will have access to your whole unit with it's own entrance and the covered patio. If you also want to use the other part of our backyard, please inquire first as we do use it regularly. For example, you might see us roam through the backyard getting a bike or golf clubs from the shed, or using the BBQ, etc.
Other things to note
You will find 2 locked doors inside the unit. Those are simply storage closets and one has the water heater for the whole house. They are always kept locked.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator. The bathroom has a bathtub or shower and a hair dryer.
