What a great find for a fall color tour weekend. Loved the excellent breakfast and other included food options throughout the day. Plenty of space for me to park my kayak trailer. The covered parking right outside our room was a definite bonus. Fridge, refrigerator AND digital safe in room. The only drawbacks were: room floor probably needs a good mopping, versus just vacuuming. Also, we could hear it very clearly in our room whenever someone used the sink/shower or flushed the toilet in the room above us. Other than those small things - excellent stay with a friendly and helpful staff. We would stay again.

Booked this room during peak fall color time and the price for the room was absolutely outrageous when compared to the facility and room. It is definitely outdated. Appeared to be an old Red Roof Inn. The bed was pretty hard. The shower did have great water pressure and hot water was consistent. They also have breakfast lunch and dinner available. However, for breakfast at least for me the food was cold. Lunch and dinner consist of hotdogs and soup and chili. There are other things that are prepackaged as well. You are not allowed to take anything out of the dining room, which I completely understand. It’s an ok hotel but also rundown and in need of updating. Our room was 1 double bed, which I don’t understand why hotels put in double beds. A queen bed would have been appreciated as it is difficult for a regular size couple to fit on a double bed without knocking into each other all night.

Hidden gem!
Great stay! Staff is very friendly and offered an amazing service. Everyone was kind and attentive. The lodge is a bit dated but the management more than makes up for that by ensuring the property is clean and the rooms are comfortable and presentable. They offer food all day which is a great perk! Honestly, its one of the best motels I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

Hotel canceled our reservation without notice
At arrival (10:30pm) we were told by the hotel desk and also the manager that unfortunately they had to cancel our 2 nights reservation because they didn’t have a clean room to offer us. At arrival! They didn’t have an alternative solution either on a weekend where all hotels were sold out. Terrible!

It was really nice, the staff was very friendly. The view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was okay. All and all I would recommend this place for the price. If you're okay with traffic noise it will wake you up in the morning

Talked to front desk to let them know it would be extremely late before we could check in. My three day stay was already paid for, a month plus in advance. I was assured that because the stay was already paid for additionally to the call it would not be a big deal. We had an incident didn’t make it to the hotel until 7am Friday morning. When I arrived I was told that not only was my account charged for a late fee and a no call no show, but the additional day I had reserved was booked out and I had nowhere to stay. After around 20 minutes or arguing I was made to go get my phone from the car to “prove” I called because I didn’t get a name. When I showed clerk the phone number she stated “well that’s not our number”. I then called the number, as soon as I did her phone rang. After this incident she magically found us a room. I find this COMPLETELY unacceptable and unprofessional. My best friend is a local physician at the hospital it was his wedding, I was the best man. This almost spoiled my entire trip. I will never be using this hotel again. LASTLY I had to cancel my Saturday night reservation which was done almost a week early. I still have not received a refund which is also unacceptable.
