Requested a non-smoking room, which I received. However, prior occupant smoked in room and was too unbearable. Receptionist argued it was a non-smoking room. I ultimately got a new room. They should not have assigned that room without proper cleaning/venting.
In the new room, there was broken glass on floor that i could not see, and cut my foot. A thorough vacuuming of the room between occupants would have alleviated the issue, but it was not done. A sign in the bathroom indicates that staff do not come in to clean rooms on a regular basis, but only 1x every 4-5 days for a deep clean.
Rooms were dirty. Bathrooms had no fan, or typical amenities (tissues, hair-dryer, iron/ironing board).
There was a recent fire in one of the wings of the building at frond desk where staff was painting over the damage. The hallways that everyone had to walk through smelled like paint and could have used some ventilation. Occupants smelled like paint just by walking from front desk/lobby to their rooms.
