We had an AMAZING STAY here during MLK weekend. Our room had a gas fireplace and balcony. Downstairs is an Italian restaurant (Panorama) and a great bar with -124 wines on tap. Look them both up! We went for a night to watch an event at Xfinity (15 min Uber). We loved it so much that we booked an extra night. Special shout out to the staff (Antonio and Robert) that greeted us. They were VERY accommodating and looked out for us. Antonio hooked us up with a really special evening once he found out it was a birthday celebration. We HIGHLY recommend staying here. Cozy, comfortable room in a fun area. Lots of bars and restaurants. Thank you for a great weekend!

We loved this hotel. It's within walking distance to many Philly highlights. The staff were great and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. Spring for the bathroom with the big jet tub; we were very glad we did and enjoyed it. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The hotel is adjacent to Interstate 95, so the noise from traffic is pretty loud. Despite the noise, the hotel is conveniently located near historic sites and attractions in Center City Philadelphia and is in Olde City, a nice area with many shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, a good value for a hotel in Philadelphia.

We arrived hungry and exhausted on Friday evening after being on the road for 2 hours driving in the rain. After a painless checkin, we were given our room key and a discount coupon for the Panorama restaurant on the 1st floor. Rather than venturing back out into the rain to find dinner, we made ourselves presentable and came back down to have a delightful dinner at the bar. The food was delicious, the beverage selection, ample, and the service top notch. After retiring to our room, we found it well appointed, and we enjoyed the gas fireplace on both evenings. Overall, I really enjoyed the character of the property and the room. It was walking distance from everywhere that we needed to be for the weekend and I will definitely stay here again when visiting friends/family in Philadelphia.

The actual key versus key card was a nice touch an attitude to the historic charm.

Room: Nice (comfortable) but dated. Looks like it hasn't been redone in a long time (wallpaper, lampshades, etc.). The plug down behind the nightstand is hard to reach (not helpful). Windows look really dirty, thus affecting the river view. Bathroom: Shower wall (glass) didn't look clean, and there are spots on the floor that could be removed with a serious cleaning. (Sorry to sound so picky, but we have expectations when it comes to cleanliness and amenities). Bar: We each had a lovely glass of wine and shared the antipasti plate (delicious!). The bartender was most welcoming and hospitable.

The hotel itself was beautiful and charming. The room was very clean and had a nice rustic touch to them - exposed brick, dark wood furniture, patterned wallpaper. It was just missing some normal modern essentials like a small fridge and a microwave. I know you can rent a mini-fridge but it was just midly inconvenient. There was also a strange small incident where the hotel manager wanted to know when we were leaving for the day so he could take care of a maintenance issue but he was mildly pushy and dismissive. Not a big deal but ruffled a few feathers. Overall, would stay here again. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the offerings seemed classy and delicious. You receive a 25% discount at the hotel restaurant when you book here.

Very friendly staff and lovely accommodations. So many places nearby that were walkable for food and drinks. Plus a cheap ride share got us to our concert in under 10 minutes.
