STAY AWAY: TRAIN EVERY 15 MIN

People are nice, but the facility has issues such as peeling paint floating in the bathtub (not great for the safety of kids in the bath). The big problem is TRAINS! Passing 100ft from the windows and blowing horns, woke up every hour. Unbelievable really. It is shocking they were even allowed to build a hotel there and even more shocking that Marriott agreed to put their name on it.

Toilet paper holder was broken when we checked in. After four days and two complaints to front desk about the issue, nothing was done to correct the problem. Also, room was never refreshed for four days. Had to ask for fresh towels and additional tissue and toilet paper replacements. For two days, the normal breakfast of eggs, sausage and waffles was not served because of “plumbing problems.” Panera Bread pastries and bagels were substituted.

1) There are train tracks right next to the hotel! And the trains’ whistle goes off for every train passing. Very disturbing and the ear plugs left in your room won’t help. 2) The property is in desperate need of a face-lift. Worn furniture and stained carpet. 3) The kitchen ‘s plumbing was not functioning so breakfast was pastries, bagels and coffee from Panera. All in all, a disappointing stay.

Impressed that there were ear plugs in case noise was bothersome (it wasn't). Cory greeted us at the reception desk and gave us a swag bag of water and locally famous Goldberg's Peanut Chews with some candy canes. Nice workout area, nice pool. Continental Breakfast was good, too.

Saved by great service

Front desk staff was beyond hospitable and was the bright spot of the stay. Breakfast is also a nice addition. Room was ok. Lots of space, but needs some upkeep and deep cleaning. Dirty dishware and broken bathroom fixtures. The heating is also wonky, it was blowing cold air at times. But public areas are kept up well. Still, Ive stayed in most of the Conshy hotels and because of the front desk service this is one of the better ones.

Hotel was clean and cozy. It was decorated for christmas and offered chocolate and candy. The rooms were large and had a sitting area and kitchen. The kids enjoyed the pool (although the water could of been warmer) and the hot tub. Hotel was quiet and staff were friendly.
