Good value for the money
The Sonder Ovation was a perfect choice for us. We needed two bedrooms and bathrooms in a central location, and Sonder fit the bill. The payment was competitive with the cost of a single room in this general area of the city. The downside is the lack of on-site hotel authority and the need to call a central Sonder number to resolve problems—like room code difficulties or raucous neighbors. Overall, this was our second stay at the Ovation and we would stay there again.

The property is not constructed well and is noisy. You hear everything from rooms around you and it is right next to the fire station/paramedics. Difficult to sleep. The bathroom needed significant updates/upgrades. Very tiny, tub/shower that wouldn’t convert to shower easily- mechanism was worn or broken, shower curtain- no glass, dirty walls, poor quality towels and very low quality/bulk soap products. Kitchen area was fine in that it had new appliances all in good working order with sufficient utensils.

Generally a great value for the money though the air condition did not work extremely well. The master bedroom the air didn't blow well so it was hottest in there. The thermostat said it was a temp I don't believe. Other than that, the place was in pretty darn good. Well setup and even had salt and pepper which was a big plus. I would stay again but hope they fix the AC. It's central AC so odd that it is working like this.

Bathroom was very small. Also noises from above unit. And a couple in a unit next to elevator was having a very loud domestic fight. It was very disturbing. Otherwise property fulfilled its purpose.

Stayed here for a girls night in Philly. Room was super cute and clean. Beautiful views of the city as well. The rooftop area was so serene and picturesque. Checking in and out of the building was effortless. The only downside is the parking around the building as we did have to park blocks away but overall I would highly recommend!

Property very well maintained and very clean. Located very close to a fire station but we heard only 1 call during our 3-day stay. Target & local grocery store only a few blocks away. Would definitely try another Sonder property again. Extremely pleased with this rental.

Everything as described. Extremely clean. Very well kept. Very comfortable. Great view of city. Excellent location. Loved having w/d in room. Water pressure was middling. Did not have a problem with noise, a few fire engines but those are all around the city anyway.

Let people know a head of time.
There's three things that would have made our stay better. 1. If the toilet didn't run so loudly all of the time. 2. If we would've know that our unit was going to be facing a main street where we would be hearing the noise from outside all night into the morning. It made it very difficult for us to get rest at night. This should be something that's made known to any one who rents this unit ahead of time. 3. Finding parking was definitely a huge challenge every night. Other than that I would give it a higher rating.

It had everything we needed for a longer term stay. Very clean. Loved having the kitchen, dishwasher and the washer/dryer. Was a little noisy so took a few days to adapt. But over all it was very homey.
