You had access to a full communal kitchen if your room did not have that. The lobby was spotless, staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Very building was very quiet inside. There is a big supermarket directly across the street as well as a smaller one.
What I did not like and the apartment of course, had no control of, was the noise from the street. It is on a very busy street and next to a gas station. St. Maarten has a very bad problem with unlicensed young men on motorcycles and scooters, driving recklessly, passing cars at will at high speeds and revving their engines and doing tricks on the vehicles. The island needs to crack down on this. Then you have the Morons who are blasting their car radios at various times of the day and night. Saying all of this, I would return primarily due to the place being very inexpensive.
