Centrally located in a uniquely quiet, upscale neighborhood on a 1-acre lot. Enjoy the casita, which has 1 bathroom and 1 master bedroom with an incredibly comfortable Tuft & Needle memory foam king-size bed. With a fun 9' deep pool, a roaming tortoise named Halsey hangs out eating grass around our mid-century modern casita, inspired and built by an understudy of the famous Frank Lloyd Wright. Easy access to all the amazing winter and spring events like the Princess Golf Waste Management Phoenix Open, Professional Baseball Spring Training, Football Bowl Games, Barrett Jackson International Auto Auction, Scottsdale Westworld International Arabian Horse Shows, World Class Hiking, Road Mountain Biking, Handle Bar J’s Live Country Music & Friday Fish Fry, and Bike Week at Buffalo Chip with a Rodeo on Friday nights, 1st Friday Art Walk in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Talking Stick Casino, and lots more outdoor shopping within 2.5 miles at The Quarter, Kierland Commons, or the Promenade, not to mention the Scottsdale Mall just 5 miles South from us. Many people visit Arizona to go to 1 of the 7 natural wonders of the world, "The Grand Canyon," or Sedona's spectacular Red Rock. We are just about 2 hours from Sedona's Oak Creek or Tlaquepaque Shopping Village. Our little oasis in the desert getaway is a quiet, serene space surrounded by many very tall (15 ft.) plants, like a wall of oleanders-very Palm Springs and great for privacy. You will love to walk the neighborhood, and we’re close to many things like cute coffee shops, Mexican food to sit on their patio and have a drink, Traders Joe's, natural grocery stores, and beauty spas, many within walking distance. Our 74th Street is in a unique cul-de-sac with all higher-end style homes on large lots because it was horse property many years ago. The Casita is detached from our main house, which was built in 1962. Our property has a long driveway; when you pull in and drive past the garage door on the left, there are 2 private parking spaces available next to our welcoming entry gate just in front of the pool, where you can come and go as you please. Come experience our beautiful green space, “we love plants and cacti,” and enjoy our amazing AZ sunshine!

So happy with my stay
What a fantastic place to stay in Scottsdale. The house was clean and quiet and in a great location. But the highlight was meeting the owners, Jerry and Charity. You couldn’t meet two nicer people and they go out of their way to make sure that you have an enjoyable stay. Everything was so good that I didn’t want to leave. Resort Quality Fabulous Casita
We truly enjoyed this fabulous Casita with the tasteful decor, beautiful furnishings, very comfortable bed and the awesome coffee bar. Charity and Jerry were very pleasant, wonderful hosts and gave us information on some of the best local restaurants. They also provided a very large case of water stocked in two refrigerators, which we greatly appreciated for our excursions in the 90 degree heat. Our favorite part was hanging out by the gorgeous pool, swimming and seeing Halsey! We would definitely recommend this Casita to friends and family and would love to go back again,

A True Gem Among VRBO's
We have rented dozens of VRBO’s over the years, and this was the nicest we have been fortunate enough to stay at. Everything about the Casita is lovely. It was impeccably clean, remarkably well stocked with anything a guest might need and exceptionally beautiful. The pool was perfect in all respects. The guest house is aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully appointed. The property is conveniently located, making trips to the art museum, the MIM, the botanical gardens, and spring training games a breeze. Exceeded Expectations
As prior VRBO host owners, we were pleased to see all of the effort that Jerry and Charity put into to every detail in this casita/guest house. Not only was it spotless, well appointed and comfortable, the outdoor space was beautiful. An MCM delight
Whether you're an MCM fan or not, this gem of a property, hidden-away in a quiet yet ideally located area of Scottsdale proved to be exceptionally clean, well-provisioned, and is full of thoughtful artistic touches. A real winner and it is firmly on our revisit list.
