Beautiful resort. I had a nice, clean room with a mountain view. I had to change rooms because the door lock was broken, but everything worked out fine after that. The pools and the fitness center are excellent, and the spa is wonderful. The restaurant was good, although minor changes to menu items were not always followed through on. Adero is a bit removed from downtown Scottsdale. But, overall, it was an excellent choice for a few days' vacation.

Overall the resort is nice and I was fine with the outcome of my stay. However, I was supposed to have a fireplace in my room. I didn’t. When I called to inquire about receiving the room I reserved, I was told there was an issue and that wasn’t possible. However, I was offered $150 resort credit. The room was a handicapped accessible room, which is fine except it then also didn’t have the soaking tub I was expecting. Dinner at Cielo was fine but not great. Truffle risotto and crab cakes were good. Instant potatoes did not cut it. The salads left a lot to be desired. The fireplace in the lobby doesn’t work and the signage to the spa is horrible. I would go back to the resort again but I know what to expect.

The view of the mountains s starts were great on the large balcony. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and the lunch at Cielo was delicious with the Southwest salad and BLT. Breakfast needs improvement. The hotel size is great, not too big to get around. Beautiful area could come here again.
