The location is one of the best in Scottsdale. The staff is friendly and genuinely offers service with a smile- Marcella at the Front Desk, Cornelius in Azul Clubhouse, Brenda Lopez in housekeeping are an asset to the property. The breakfast has ample choices and the evening reception is an excellent place to have a few drinks which are on the house and interact with other guests. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Fashion Square and the eateries/shopping around old Scottsdale. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious although bedrooms and bathrooms are dated to the point they could be a deal breaker for some.

The food at the restaurant was fabulous. The bartender was so personable! The folks at the front desk were accommodating and friendly. The property is huge.. all outdoor access. Heated pools, decent fitness center. The rooms were laid out nice and suitable... Not the best rooms but adequate. Worth the rate we paid!

Repeated problem with keys, with a 0.4 mile round trip to the desk each time to fix an issue. Mid week the gym was no longer recognized, but my door worked. Another night, no key worked and they had to change the batteries on the door card reader the next morning. The front desk people were sharing the key writing equipment was causing problems for many people. It sounds like management needs to make a service call, but hadn't been over the week I was there. I was on the 4th floors on the East quad. Different elevators took turns being under maintenance in my area. So I would have to walk between areas to see what was working. They were marked as under maintenance. Broadly, it is a good place w good food and service.

PROS: The shower had great water pressure and nice hot water, so I appreciate that. Every staff member I encountered was polite - not necessarily warm and friendly - but polite. My favorite part of staying here was having a bike available to use. I was delighted that the seat height was adjustable! CONS: This was a super noisy resort - music blasting around both pools nonstop. I was hoping to relax by the pool and ended up having to wear earplugs just to find some peace and quiet. The room was also in need of a refresh. The carpet was frayed, the coffee maker didn't work and I had to call twice to request a replacement. The room was in need of a good cleaning. The floors around the bed had been vacuumed with a floor vacuum but the corners and behind the nighstands and beds were gross.

Staff were great, though not a lot of recommendations though, of things to do etc at front desk. Only used shuttle once, the driver was having a very bad day and was pretty vocal about it, a bit uncomfortable. The pull out couch was 1000% metal springs, the entire thing, I think it was maybe original to the hotel, definitely needs to be replaced. Breakfast was AMAZING, happy hour was great too, restaurant food was also excellent! Pool was super clean, not too busy and great music! I would come back, if I could be guaranteed the mattress on the pullout couch was new!

The staff and amenities were awesome! The room layout was perfect for a family- separate sleeping room and living room. The room we were given was VERY dank and dirty, missing the phone, and the stopper in the bathtub. My kids had black feet from walking around. We would still return but would make sure our room was clean before settling in.

Great location just north of Old Town Scottsdale. We were able to walk to dinner a few times. The pools were nice, though one had a strange smell. Plenty of loungers available at any time. Breakfast and evening social were nice. We used the tennis court, but it's in pretty bad shape. Rooms were nice and spacious and the bed was comfy. Overall, it was a nice stay.
