Well where do i begin
There was an event scheduled at the property and unfortunately it was not divulged when we arrived. We tried to relax by the pool and then we were told to move to a smaller pool because of the event. Once the event started we had to leave the property because the noise was so loud.Upon returning to the property at 9pm the time it should have ended we could hear the music from the street. Our room was right behind the speaker. It did not end until after 10pm. The guests who attended it continued to party until 5am. I want my money back! This was absolutely ridiculous. We wanted to relax and enjoy ourselves. Instead we couldn't even sleep.
Very old. Doors don’t latch, ants in the hotel rooms, just very old and rundown. They say remodeled and I give you that but it feels like lipstick on a pig.
The whole staff was amazing whether it was in the coffeehouse, the front desk or the maintenance. Absolutely the best! The customer service was impeccable.
They still are working on a couple fine touches to improve things but the upgrades done so far are great.
The pool and courtyard area are absolutely gorgeous. The pool is always super clean and they have plenty of chairs and towels for everybody.
The location is perfect and safe to walk around old town Scottsdale.
We stayed there when it was under previous ownership as the saguaro. It was way better then.

Disliked: Amenities
It was a party hotel. We did not expect that. If you like watching men kissing men on the lips and running around in G strings, then that’s the place for you. It was not the place for us.
I was highly disappointed in this hotel; the pictures look absolutely stunning and newly renovated but that was NOT at all what I got! Bathroom tiles were old and peeling, I didn't get hot water but instead lukewarm water for two nights using a poor shower head. Room decor was extremely ragged and outdated. The check-in process was also time consuming as you have to download a phone app and check in w/ your driver's license... Which I found weird. I would not come back again. Maybe others had nicer rooms, but the room I got was literally like a run-down motel.
There was a very loud night party that we didn’t know about and the staff didn’t know it was happening either. Night staff was very kind. We had to move buildings. I had a medical emergency in building 6 no help was offered and no elevator was available. I’ve always loved staying when it was the Saguaro
Service lacks professionalism. Front Desk was not able to sndwer any questions. Was told music/ dj will stop playing at midnight. Its now 1am and they are still going.
