Good well situated B&B excellent friendly staff
Helpful and welcoming staff. Room found on ground floor for us, cup of Yorkshire tea offered on arrival. Good breakfast, to order the night before. Well situated close to centre for NYMR and restaurants. Very quiet situation.

This is an amazing hotel. Scrupulously clean, everyone very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, and a beautiful garden behind it as well as a convenient car park. The accommodation was of a much higher quality than we expected given the rating of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again and explore the moors and the coast - we were there for a family celebration.

Absolutely great service the owner accommodated extra kids beds ,great English breakfast we all loved it .We went on train trip to Whitby the next day and they told us to leave our car their when we checked out to save on parking at the station .Perfect location just off the main drag .Will be returning soon

Comfortable hotel. Good base for exploring
We stayed 3 nights at the Old Manse Hotel, a traditional hotel very close to the centre of Pickering. The rooms are clean and comfortable - good shower - with tea, coffee facilities. Breakfast was great with healthy and not so healthy choices or both if you wanted! Staff attentive and friendly.

Perfection in Pickering
It was a delight to stay at Old Manse Hotel. All the staff were extremely pleasant and efficient.Nothing is too much trouble fort the owner Val.A lovely tea tray in the lounge on arrival and a map/ booklet on Pickering given to us, very helpful when we asked about walks,transport etc. A .roaring log fire in the lounge in the evening.Breakfasts are excellent and we also had a three course evening meal on our first night which was both delicious and substantial.Extremely comfortable bedrooms. The hotel is well located with access to the town within seven minutes. A most enjoyable stay and we will most definitely be returning. Many thanks Val.
