Bed & Breakfast Suite At The Wooded Retreat!

Full upper level for private use which includes 750 square foot of space. full bath, living area, kitchenette, workout area, master bedroom with queen bed and balcony. Bed & Breakfast included! (The private use living area stairwell in the upper level is open to the lower level). Custom furnishings and décor tastefully done. Outdoor fire ring and kitchen for guest use.
(Please note: The lower level of the home is occupied by the owners ,your stay will be incredibly quiet and private but the rental is for the upper level only, not the entire home). If looking to fit a larger group please inquire for arrangements to rent the entire cabin.
The home is located in a private setting 3 miles from the highway close to many amenities including several lakes and rivers and state Forest, parks, casino, restaurants, micro breweries, wineries. Property has mature white pines and several pond's and flower gardens. Space is modern but comfy with all you need for a getaway. Kitchenette with convection oven, fridge, microwave and Keurig for private use. Our guests absolutely love their stay! A perfect quiet and peaceful retreat.

This retreat is conveniently located between the Twin Cities and Duluth, offering easy access to various attractions. Here are some of my favorite local highlights:

Very nice time. Had an amazing cool rainy night to enjoy a great nights sleep. There were a few little things that could have been repaired that led me to only rate this stay as a 4. The breakfast was not what we expected, but was fairly accurate in comparison to the listing. Overall, beautiful setting and the owner was very helpful and responsive. We had a great time. Thank you.

If you're looking for a quiet out in the woods home away from home this is it. Nestled in the timber is a perfect spot for peace and tranquility. I would suggest not going here for a work trip though as the Internet with all the trees is less than ideal. But I think that's half the point for this place. The owners were unbelievable and helped with anything we may have needed. I definitely recommend over and over. If you're a gambler, golfer this is a great centralized location to multiple courses. 5 or so within 20 to 30 miles.

The cabin is in a beautiful wooded setting. We didn't get to use the outdoor patio and firepit due to rain, but it looked really nice out there. The Deluxe suite is really nice and cozy. The only thing I didn't care for was there is not a door to lock going into the suite there is only a curtain.

Honeymoon Stay
Beautiful property in the woods. Very restful place to spend our honeymoon. Deborah went out of her way to make our stay special. Christmas 2020
I was on the hunt for a quiet get away to surprise my wife and dog with for Christmas 2020. I came across this wonderful spot just north of Pine City. The planning and booking process was perfect and the trip itself was exactly what we were looking for. We had plenty of private space, they had the firepit all ready for us even though it had snowed the day before we came up, and there was plenty to do in the area (with our hosts suggestions as well). We will be coming back for a Summer stay as well!

Adventures at The Wooded Retreat
The Wooded Retreat was a like staying at your own private getaway, tucked back in the woods off the beaten path. The beauty and serenity of the place was amazing! Debra and Paul were wonderful hosts. In the evening, as we sat around the campfire, we shared stories of our trip up to Gooseberry Falls and Two Harbors and they shared stories of their collection of adorable little cabins that you can rent as well. We would definitely stay here again!!

This cabin made my daughters and me forget there was anything but this! It was perfect - beautiful and comfortable in a setting that can be described as peaceful, charming and relaxing. Lovely people, very nice stay
Had a very nice stay here. The owners are very gracious hosts. The cabin is beautiful and everything is nicely kept. This is almost a bed and breakfast kind of stay. The owners were onsite and made a delicious breakfast. If you require 💯 privacy, this would not be ideal. But we really enjoyed ourselves. Excellent location 👍
