Great, quiet and clean room in an apartment within a few minutes walk to the main attractions. The host was very friendly and helpful sending all the useful and necessary information via whatsapp. I would recommend the place and would stay there again.

Great place to stay and very affordable!! Excellent location to the tower. Yanna was super sweet, answered all of our questions and gave us lots of recommendations to check out. Would definitely stay there again!

Close to tower

We arrived at 3pm very easy check in. The lady who greeted us had a lot of useful information for us.The room was clean and big although very warm during the night even with 2 fans. The bathroom was clean although there is a notice asking people not to shower between 11pm and 7pm.

Great place if you're not too fussy

Very close to the leaning tower of Pisa. If you arrive before 2pm, you will have to wait until the check-in time. We decided to have a beer and a pizza in a nearby place so we would recommend you do that if you're there early. The host was very friendly and full of local tips. The room was light, specious and tasteful. There was some noise form the buses at night and there are messages everywhere to be respectful and quiet at certain times. We shared a bathroom which was large and clean. Didn't bother us but we're not a fussy couple. Great value for money and decent accommodation.

I missed the fine print that said the check in was closed at 8pm. Arrived at 8pm to find a curt note to say my reservation was cancelled as I had not arrived by 8 pm. We had been dropped by a cab in a residential area. Nowhere to stay. Hotel.com could not reach the hotel. No refund was provided, but hotel.com did provide me with a voucher toward another hotel. I could never recommend such callus treatment.

The flight was delayed by 2 hours, so at 20.45 we found a notice stating that our reservation had been cancelled at 20:00 hrs.The place seemed rather dingy and unwelcoming There were no taxis to be found so we had a long walk before finding a delightful bed and breakfast very close to the leaning tower. Definitely a silver lining to a rather dark cloud.

Five minutes to the Leaning Tower

The Guest House sent directions from the Airport via whatsapp the day before - I was most grateful and they led me to the door of La Cochinella. In fact, Yana the proprietor kept in touch via whatsapp during our stay and provided ample guidance on Pisa. The room was large - certainly large enough for two - and clean. The beds were comfortable. The communal areas were clean and comfortable. Although we did not use the kitchen there is one. Although there is a communal bathroom we did not find that we had to queue for it - it was clean and pleasant. Our trip was all about seeing Pisa, with a day spent in Florence, so we didn't spend a huge amount of time in our accommodation. I would however return to La Cochinella should I go to the region again.

Great value, excellent location

This was great value and the location was fantastic for access to the campo. Only downside was that any movement at night echoed because of the big rooms. The hostess was a lovely, bubbly woman who gave lots of info.

Nice hotel in a quiet area

It's more a guest house than a hotel, however it fully compensated by the great service of their owners. It has a clean and open shared bathroom and a small kitchen with all the facilities. The only problem that I encounter is that they don't have an elevator, you must understand what is carrying two suitcases at the same time. Beyond that was a placed and wonderful stay. The Pisa tower is literally a few blocks, less than 5 minutes, that's a plus :)

Best Hotel Blankets in Italy

This little B&B was on a quiet street and only an 8 minute walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The staff was very friendly and provided us with a map of Pisa that had everything on it from the closest corner store to the nearest ATM and the best path to take to get to the middle of town. The lady who checked us in also booked a taxi for us to bring us to the airport for our early morning flight the next day. The blankets in the room were AMAZING!! -so warm, thick, and cozy, unlike the thin blankets I'm used to seeing in Italian hotels. The shared bathroom was very spacious and clean. Although no breakfast is provided, they do have a kitchen with coffees, teas, and a place to keep your food and cook.

Affordable as well as walkable property with pleasant and help full staff. Building in good condition, but rooms were empty and very cold. Radiator only worked at night. No soundproofing what so ever. Squeaky beds and washroom that woke you up. Showerban from 11pm to 7am which worked badly with my travelplans

Quiet and comfortable room

It is very quiet and easy to find. The owners gave us a lot of information for places to look around and food. It is very convenient for the Leaning Tower and Cathedral. We had three nights here and it is great.

Le plus : grande chambre. Il y a de quoi recharger le portable, les batteries.. Calme car pas de télé dans les chambres. Le moins : l'entrée dans le lieux m'a posé problème. J'ai dû appeler le propriétaire car je n'ai pas su déclencher l'ouverture de la porte.. Même ceux qui arrivaient à activer les codes d'entrée avec le téléphone devaient appeler pour trouver la clé de la chambre !! Dommage car quand on arrive de loin, on n'a pas envie de se tracasser.. On veut juste aller prendre une douche et visiter les environs..

In english ; It was a very pleasant place. Very very much clean and well organized. 15 minutes walk from the tower. Very close public transport =bus number 4..... Pisa is a very pleasant Italian town even far from the tower. The instructions of the owner where very efficient.
