To start with the positive, the staff at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful and the view is amazing. The property is well outdated and run down (1980s). The outdoor hallway is a desaster area. There are no restaurants, coffees, shops etc. open in the evening which would typically be the arrival time
The hotel next door is the most unfriendly place I have ever come across..... they do not serve Highland Club Residents and therefore there is nothing you can get to eat within 45! minutes... The whole affair was rather unpleasant.

The property was a little dated but as we were informed, the entire estate was in the process of being updated. The pictures did show some of the furniture but not everything. The fold out bed was a surprise and if like me you are 6ft then it is way too small. The Kitchen was ok with everything you would need if you wanted to cook and everything is electric. We didn’t see this as a problem at first until you read the info pack. You are charged for all electric that you use. This is everything. Lights, fridge, heating, tv if you want to watch it, charging phones,iPads etc so will be an expensive doo if you have children that need something to do when it rains. The views you get though are simply breathtaking.
We couldn’t fault the place at all !
The apartment has everything we needed , it was immaculate too! Lovely views from the room . The hotel was a couple of minutes walk away , very friendly staff in the bar they went out their way to make us welcome , especially Tracy
Beautiful setting. Weather was fab on our stay which made all the difference. Accommodation had everything you could need however was slightly dated but some of the lodges have been upgraded recently. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Ideal place to relax.
The apartment was outstanding, fully equipped clean and superb views over Loch Rannoch. Family holiday with my don and our dog, very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the games table.

Awful place that we were unable to stay in due to a terrible smell and nothing like the place advertised. Nobody was available to discuss our issues and we had to drive home instead of having an overnight stay. They then charged my card anyway despite a representative of their organisation confirming a refund would be provided and they don’t respond to requests for refund. Avoid this place at all costs.
Lovely property shame about lack of time to enjoy.
The property is very well equipped and very spacious. Biggest disappointment is check in being 1700 and check out 1000 so after going out for dinner no time to appreciate the dwelling. Even 1500 check in and/or 1200 checkout would greatly enhance visiting experience.
great location, fantastic view. studio well conceived, good space.
However, the property is quite run down. The interior was clean but the outside building looked dirty. The interior was a bit run down but overall convenient and clean - but the beds were absolutely awful! the murphy bed was old and squeaking like scared pig every time my friend was moving a finger. The sofa bed was not much better. Updating the beds would be a huge upgrade.
Slightly off the beaten track but more than makes up for it with the amzing room and view from the room. The griiffin bed is not noticeable at all and we had to actually call up the reception to locate it.
The reception closes at 8pm so one needs to ensure check in before that or call up ahead.
The restaurant at the hotel close by serves decent food.
Nice stay on the loch. A little frustrated by the check in time before 5pm. But with a simple phone call before 5pm, they were able to check us in after hours. I didn't understand the need for electricity charges as these fees were not in the fine print when booking the reservation. Additional fees like electricity should be saved or clearly explained in the reservation process.
Also, there are apparently evening activities that we could have registered for prior to arrival but were not informed of them until we received our Welcome pack during check in. Still a relaxing break on a busy Scottish vacation.
Thought the studio apartment was lovely only niggle was railing at window was chipped paint in an an awful condition & took your attention when enjoying view. Maybe I am being bit picky as my dad was a painter & decorator !!!apart from that everything else was great & would book again.
