Brittany front desk guest representative was very pleased and polite. Staff overall was nice. Restaurant we did not care for. Staff sit us in a timely manner, service was not in a timely manner. So we left. Our room was nice no complaints. Surroundings around lots of restaurants to walk to.

Just okay. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel was just okay. We were actually disappointed in the condition of the room considering the astronomical price we paid to stay for 2 nights over the weekend. The floor planks in the bathroom slid around under our feet. The door knob was loose on the bathroom door. The bed was hard. The furniture in the room was very dinged up. It was quiet, the staff were friendly and professional. You had to eat at a restaurant for breakfast. Coffee was provided for a very limited time in the morning. The lobby was shameful. The furniture is stained and threadbare. The carpet was also very dirty. Staying here is all about the location, really. The art district and market square are right there and easily walkable. There are other options nearby. If we ever go there again, I will definitely be checking them out.

The night I stayed there was a wedding reception in the attached restaurant/bar so music was really loud & thumping until around 10:30 - 11pm. And for some inane reason the hotel then started up loud music again around 7am on Sunday morning! The hotel is located in what looks like it is an interesting neighborhood but the Square is under construction so you’re 1/2 bock from all the work. There were also a lot of sketchy people milling around The staff were great except one guy who I believe was the manager this morning. He was very curt and dismissive of questions that several guests had before me, and then of mine as well. He had no interest in trying to help or “go a little extra” to make a guest welcome or accomodate their easy requests Really disappointing

I had an issue packing my bike up at the end of the stay towards checkout. Something was leaking in my bike bags and was struggling with that—the staff was very helpful assisting me getting that under control.

In 3 days, I never stepped foot in the lobby where someone was not cleaning! The elevators were wiped down constantly. NOT just the rails and floor… the walls too!

Good location in downtown PGH. Garage parking is $45/night so I opted to chance street parking. Plenty of spots in adjacent streets, though hourly rates apply during typical daytime hours. Room was decently clean. Towels were mostly well worn. Shower drain was clogged on first night though easy fix. Pet rate is fairly reasonable at $75/stay. Mattress was too soft - q
