Great place to stay in Pittsburgh.
We got an awesome room with a great view of the city. The hotel is right near Gateway Center and Fifth Avenue place - very beautiful with tons of restaurants and shopping in close walking distance. It was so wonderful. Staff was great! We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again! A little on the expensive side but worth it. They also gave me a military discount.

We arrived at the Wyndham and the first thing that went wrong was they said they had self-parking, but hey only had $43 per night valet. While nice the valet retrieval time was often longer than expected. The next thing was we were given a two bed room that was smaller than pictured. So small two people would be very cramped. The room was old and tired and the bottom of the blinds were visibly filthy. We complained and were given a suite which was cleaner but still old. The staff were nice, it’s just an old hotel that is not honest with their advertising of the rooms.

The staff was great, the area is beautiful, But it was not worth the $1200 for two nights. Didn’t not even offer continental breakfast… Nothing. I booked this week for $804. When I checked out, it was over $1200. No room service, nothing I just slept there for two nights. Only Parking option was valet and they came out to $86. Separate taxes and fees for each night were ridiculous. I will never ever stay at this hotel again I’m sorry. I could have gotten the same services for 100 bucks at any other local hotel.
