Arriving at approximately 2100 during June, I was at first disappointed by the fact that no one was about. However the electronic check-in was easy to use and the room was good. I was at the front facing the main road which was not too bad but it also faces East and therefore the sunrise hit the windows early. I would have rather have been round the back. But all good. The room was very clean and modern, the wifi worked very well and the TV was good. It was also nice to have a kettle and coffee maker with tea and coffee. However, I went outside onto the balcony and inadvertently let the door close behind me. If you know the sickening sound of the click of the door closing and you realise the electronic key is inside with all your stuff including phone, car keys, etc. You will understand the problem especially as you now have no way of contacting anyone. I had to knock on the door of another guest who helpfully used his mobile to contact the management and within a few minutes the proprietor (I believe) arrived to let me back in. Thanks to both him and especially the other guest. There is not a lot going on around the hotel so really only for stopover in my opinion. All in all, despite my stupidity, not a bad night.
