My girlfriend and i stayed in late August and did not want to leave. We even tried to extend our stay and change our flight but were unable to. We had an amazing time at the pool parties and even rented a cabana one day. The food and drinks were awesome really liked the bob marley drink. The steaks were really good. Even got room service just for fun and that was good also. One day they had a giant wok type grill making tacos which was cool and i got some because y not and they were really good. We also really enjoyed the Aztec type show and kereoke performances as well as all the pool performances and dancers. My gf and i also did some of the contests. The location is top notch short walking distance to 5th ave which is another attraction of its own wish we could have checked it out more but with everything included at the resort there is no reason to leave lol. They also surprised my gfwith a nice ribbon and cake for her bday. She was so happy and impressed with everything and is a tough customer. We cant wait to go back and hope to visit again soon.

I loved everything about this property. The beauty, the rooms let's talk about the rooms! The many dining options. I will say the food in Spice the buffet restaurant surprisingly was the best for me. The entertainment was good also. My only complaint was the elevator in my building was out of service the whole time I was there and I was on the very top floor. That was the most inconvenient part. Overall will recommend it 100 times over.

Great property and great food. All around good experience. We will stay here again. The only criticism is that you cannot get a bottle of alcohol for your room and they quit serving at 11pm. It would be nice if you could order one bottle for your stay as some other resorts allow.

This was our first time staying at the Hilton Playa Del Carmen and it was a wonderful experience! Every single one of the staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurants and buffet had plenty of delicious options and there was always some type of entertainment taking place in the evening. Highly recommended staying here, we will definitely be back!

Mostly this was a fine property. I only have a couole very specific things that were pretty annoying. The staff was great and helpful. The property was clean but could use some additional care on things. The biggest problems were the ice machine and room service. Our 1st floor ice machine was not working. I had to go all the way to the 4th floor to find a working ice machine. This was a daily trip. The room service was very slow and the sandwiches we ordered were dry and not edible. Fries were super soggy and cold. It was 3am but still would have expected better.

This is mostly personal preference so keep in mind that while I did not enjoy my stay, you might. From the moment we went to check in, we were disappointed. The process makes no sense. I walked into the room where the front desk was and was told to wait outside, despite there being multiple open stations. Others in my group with the same room type were allowed to check in, but not me. My girlfriend went to walk around the property just to have a look. She was accosted by security and told she would have to leave by walking out to the beach in the back. She refused and explained we were checking in. She then simply walked back to the lobby. After we checked in, we were taken to our room. It was literally next to the kitchen for the bakery. Also very close to the lobby bar. When we went to bed we were treated to hours of clanging dishes and silverware. We got no sleep from 1-3 am. The room also smelled like a combination of mildew and mild sewage. Most of the food is terrible. Security harasses you constantly. The drinks could not be weaker. Many things you might want are pretty pricey add-ons. The restaurant hours are pretty short windows and inconsistent. Generally, it’s not great. That said, it’s also pretty inexpensive. If you choose to go, the sports bar is okay. Chef’s Plate is actually good, but you do have to pay. Asiana was fair, but meals you would want do cost extra. Also, a word of warning on checkout; it is completely ridiculous.

different from the last time i stayed there,if you are thinking it is the same as when it was the royal it is not,.you should not advertise as all inclusive.

El Hotel muy bien, comodo, limpio, buena atencion en especial la tuvimos de Carlos que nos atendió en el restaurant comida mediterranea "Kalamata" . No nos gusto y ponga atención si agendan un servicio de spa , no informan de las politicas de cancelación, por lo que intentan cobrar el servicio sin darlo . Gracias al subgerente Jesús esto no nos sucedio, pero fue un momento desagradable.
