This is a very special hotel, based on a renovated 17th century manor house. It is set in beautiful countryside, and is very quiet, being a Relais de Silence hotel. The bedrooms are located in the orangeries, adjacent to the manor house which houses the restaurant, bar and reception. The dining hall has amazing atmosphere, with solid stone walls, a high ceiling and a large log fire. The cuisine is superb and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The current owner has made many improvements, and the bedrooms have been modernised to a high standard, although there is no air-conditioning. Sadly the hotel is closed during the winter, from early October to March or April. I have been using this hotel for many years, and will continue to do so whenever I visit France. I highly recommend it to others.
