I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was lovely, and the lady at the reception was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and good selection available. The only downfall, disappointed to find that the four poster bed did not have any curtains as shown in their website.

The room as amazing clean great size. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has everything you need. This is the second time staying here best hotel in plymouth it’s clean fresh airy beds are so comfy best nights sleep could have slept all day in that bed.

A great value stay. Friendly staff. A nice traditional feel and an impressive hotel building. Nice pool, steam room and sauna. Clean room, furniture a little dated, but I liked that, gave it a vintage feel.

Breakfast was very good and prepared on order. the hotel reception was great and the hotel is clean and nice. unfortunately we had booked a "small room" as we were just staying 1 night. we had no problem with the size of the room and it was very clean. the problem was that room 309 and I can guess all the room on that floor and on that side of the hotel have a sloping roof with low rafters exactly where one has to walk to get into bed. they could pad them as they are really a big hazard and I felt not safe, the risk of banging my head was really considerable. this was not mentioned in the booking system otherwise we would have chosen another type of room.
