Right next to the river. Property has limited check in times. There is no restaurant available on site but 3 nearby. Rooms are good size. Fast internet. Adequate free parking. Netto supermarket about 1.2 km away (Closed on Sunday).

Great location just above the Mosel River in the midst of Mosel wine country, Vineyards all around climbing the near vertical hillsides of the surrounding mountains, German and Euro clientele, very little English spoken. Excellent copious German breakfast. Car ride to find restaurants. Great value and perfect for anyone looking for a German experience that is not a chain hotel.

Nice hotel but wanted to have a drink at the bar or on the terrace but it all closes at 8pm and that includes the restaurant. the woman at the hotel was not friendly at all we saw her outside and asked her if the bar was open and she just looked at us and said no and not in a friendly way then she just walked away.

Quaint hotel with wonderful view of the valley.
This hotel is a bit older but it has all of the amenities and that just adds to it's personality. Staff are great and the view from the patio is wonderful! Bonus points. The roads around the area are fantastic on the motorbike!

Great Stay at the Hotel Kachelburg!!
Stayed here for an evening in early July. This was our first trip to the Mosel Region. The hotel staff were friendly and the owner spoke English, which was helpful. We ate dinner at the restraurant in the hotel. Typical German fare on the menu; the food was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced. The room itself was quite large and very clean. Lots of space to spread out and relax. No air conditioning, but a floor fan was provided and kept the room cool enough to sleep that evening. A buffet-style breakfast was included with the room. All of the breakfast offerings were fresh and the coffee was great too! Free Wi-Fi was also provided on site and there was plenty of parking out front too. All in all, a great hotel to stay at and would highly recommend to others.

Gute Lage direkt an der Mosel. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und gut. Ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.
