Perched right above the iconic Boomer Beach, The Lido offers uninterrupted views of the coast from the Bluff to Knights Beach, and the Coorong in the distance.

The Lido has a huge balcony! Wake up before the family, roll out your yoga mat and salute the morning sun as it inches around the rocks at Knights Beach. At the other end of the day, gather your pals, get out the cocktail shaker and celebrate the endless sky at sunset.

From here you can watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks, wave to the famous cockle train, and marvel as pods of dolphins surf the waves below. During the winter months the balcony becomes your very own whale-watching platform.

The Lido is cleverly divided into two distinct areas. Upstairs, the ocean is the hero. With full glass frontage and side windows that overlook Victor Harbor, this is where you can really connect with the sea. Here you’ll find a spacious, light and bright open plan living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom, all beautifully presented and complete with modern appliances and reverse-cycle air conditioning. Bi-fold doors open on to the main bedroom, which has its own incredible views of the coast.

Downstairs is a cozy TV room boasting the latest Smart TV, super comfy leather sofas and reverse-cycle air conditioning. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom, a fully fenced north facing garden that captures the winter sun, and a top-of-the-range gas barbecue.

It’s just a short stroll from The Lido to Beaches café, South Seas Books, and the Dog Dragon furniture emporium. The walking path in front of The Lido takes you around the headland to Horseshoe Bay and the Flying Fish Café. Bring your bicycles and the south coast is yours for the taking.

Your big kids will love the easy access to one of South Australia’s favorite surfing beaches, while the little ones will delight in the joys of Horseshoe Bay. Whether it’s a family holiday, a romantic mini-break, or a girls’ weekend away, The Lido is perfect all year round.

Lovely holiday home
The house itself is well situated with great ocean views. The furnishings are new and very tasteful, the home has all the amenities you would need and in general it was clean. There were two downsides however. The first was pet hair all over the main sofa, balls of it coming from under furniture, and a pet bed under the main bed which is disappointing for a home advertised as no-pets and for someone with pet allergies. However this was dealt with very quickly by the property manager. The second was there was no TV in the upstairs main living room. The weather was cold, wet and windy for our stay, and there were a couple of days where we had to stay indoors, but it was a bit dull sitting downstairs with the kids watching TV with no outside view. Also at night, our young kids were asleep downstairs and so we couldn’t watch TV down there as it would have woken them, and we would have liked to have watched the Australian Open. Adding a second TV upstairs would be brilliant.

Waves Crashing
What a beautiful and peaceful location and modern house. We had the most fantastic time staying at lido beach house. Nothing can beat the sound of the waves crashing when u fall asleep, not too mention comfy beds. Great walks, fun watching surfers and breathing in the fresh air. This trip reminded me how great SA is. Would definitely come back.

Can’t beat the view
Fantastic location with a beautiful view. A modern well set up town house with a kitchen that has everything you need. Great that upstairs and downstairs can be separated with a small kitchenette area downstairs leading to the lovely little backyard. Perfect for a group of friends or a family getaway!
