Great home in a great location
Enjoyed being a block away from Mississippi. Ate great food, saw live music, enjoyed some fun shops, and enjoyed being able to walk home to this rental.

Quirky fun
Great location and the availability of off street parking was a huge bonus. House is a little quirky (need a step ladder to use the microwave, and have to stoop to get under the shower head) . . . But reasonably comfortable for an old house, and appreciated the coffee and snack amenities.

Great stay
This was a great space for two couples to spend our vacation. The desk in the second bedroom was perfect for a workspace, and we loved the couch as a lounging area. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, though there were a ton of allergy friendly eateries in easy walking distance so we ate out more than anticipated. We had a snag with the hot tub chemicals on our first night that was quickly resolved by the host and we enjoyed it the rest of our stay.

Mississippi District PDX bungalow
This sweet little house has enough space to sleep 5 comfortably and is walkable to everything you would want in the Mississippi district of Portland. We live in Portland and were having some work done on our house and were pretty discerning about where we wanted to stay and this rental was perfect. Live Music? You are covered at Mississippi Studios. Coffee? Saunter on over to Fresh Pot. Great cocktails? Meander on up to Victorias. Neighborhood tavern? Enjoy the old PDX vibe at the Red Fox. Mouth watering for a delicious breakfast? Get to Gravy early for some from scratch tastiness. Hankering for some southern food? Miss Delta's has you covered. Got a kid that will only eat Pizza? Mississippi Pizza has your kid covered and with their great cocktail lounge you are covered, too!- Not to mention they also have live music. Kitchy shops, local finds, from books to art to apothecary and vintage clothes- plus easy access to all the Portland has to offer. You will love this bungalow with all it has to offer and the perfect location for all Portland has to discover and enoy!

Everything we needed
Clean, great location, easy to get downtown, to interstate to head to coast, and to / from airport. Good kitchen to cook in, and a table for 4, perfect for after dinner card games. Air conditioner is noisy but it tends to cook off at night, and the toilet doesn't always flush great. Still 5 stars.

Nicely appointed, driveway accommodates more than one car which is a major plus in a busy neighborhood. Mississippi Street one block away, with lots of bars, restaurants, shops, etc.

Comfort in excellent location
The rental was perfect. The location was great for accessing many different neighborhoods, downtown, main routes to the coast and the Gorge. The Mississippi District restaurants and shops provided so many very good options for food, shopping and entertainment. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. Parking in the driveway was very appreciated. The spa was hot, worked perfectly and clean. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of four to lounge and relax. The artwork and decor were unique and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great and easy. Only suggestion is maybe decrease the water heater temperature, the shower valve is deceiving and we both were nearly burnt by the water.

Nice property in great location
The house is in a great spot. Driveway parking was a bonus as was the hot tub. The house was clean, and the space was comfortable for a family of four.

Quick trip for work
Very easy to get to thank goodness for the driveway but be careful pulling in. Watched 3 parked cars get hit and each person drove off leaving the damage. So thankful for the driveway! Ants in the bathroom and living room. Those really tiny ones, found twonon me while sitting on the couch. House smelled bed, like urine. Had to leave the doors open first day there. Luckily we had work and were gone all of Friday and Saturday best thing was the hot tub and record player. Microwave was a bit of a joke for anyone under 6 foot.
