I have to say - I am severely disappointed with the management at this property. When we checked in - Shanice (sorry if spelled incorrectly) was WONDERFUL. We came in early as we drove 6 hours from NJ and she let us check in early and explained the fee of early check in which we had to problem paying. She is a wonderful employee and her service shows it. We were due to check out on Monday the 25th but unfortunately our son ended up in the hospital and we had to leave the 24th. Check out is at 11am and we informed the front desk at 9:30am that we would be leaving. The lady told us that we would not get a refund since we had to tell them by 4pm the night before that we were leaving. I explained that unfortunately we had no idea of knowing that overnight our son in NJ would be sick. We still packed up and headed out. When leaving - I asked the lady if she had the policy written anywhere that she could print for me - she said she couldn’t print it but it was in her system. I contacted Expedia and they approved a refund for us but needed the hotel approval - the hotel denied the refund again. I understand policies but we left before check out so I KNOW they had a chance to clean and resell the room. I am disappointed to know that they have no heart when it comes to unforeseen circumstances. We have a wedding that we are planning in Maine and we were going to reserve a block of rooms here solely based on our experience with Shanice but unfortunately will be going elsewhere.

The rooms are small as well as the bathrooms. The plumbing in the bathroom is terrible. We had one concierge, Cynthia, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and questions I asked while the others were not helpful at all. Also, you have to schedule cleaning for your room, when that should be automatically done. Continental breakfast was just okay, and limited. Staying at this hotel was a one and done deal. Oh, and let’s not talk about no pool.

Bad service, left within 30 minutes

The shuttle from the airport was a little sketchy, then when I got to the hotel I dealt with the most rude front desk person I've ever encountered. Smirking, mocking , overall rude. There was no manager to speak to. Checked out without even touching the room. She continued to be rude through checkout. Moved to a different hotel and contacted customer service. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else, this is the cheapest hotel for a reason.

I booked this hotel becuase of price which was not cheap. The iron in the room ruined my favorite shirt. The toilet did not flush well. The women checking us in was bland and boardering on rude. Bathroom in lobby was out of service. Will never stay at this location and will be very hestant to stay at a Holiday inn in the futire.

The fan in the bathroom was not in place and was partially hanging down. I have a photo but I can’t send it to you. The handle on the inside of the bathroom door wouldn’t work if you pushed it down. You had to push it up. The floor had a a big glob of hair. I assume that was because they were swamped getting the rooms cleaned after a full night. The AC was difficult to regulate. There was one regular sized pillow and one small one for each sleeper. Never seen that before. It was not useful. Check in staff was very helpful. The rest seemed in a not so good mood. The driver to the airport was very polite.

The room was spotless and the bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! The breakfast was adequate, not great. Because the hotel is right beside the highway there is a constant hum of traffic, but the comfort of the bed and cleanliness of the room offset that inconvenience. The staff were helpful and friendly.
