The hotel itself was nice enough, however our room only one of the outlets worked in our room .. so our phones didn’t charge, the fridge didn’t work, the coffee machines didn’t work. There was a male staff member who was wonderful to deal with and cheerful and helpful the other staff didn’t seem overly friendly. The hotel did agree to give us a refund once a Expedia rep reached out to them regarding nothing working in our room, so we appreciated that a lot. The hotel location (no fault of their own) is horrible. There are homeless and drug addicts everywhere with their tents set up literally right outside the hotel and around the entire Pearl District. It was dirty and our car needed to be locked in a secure parking area (12 minute walk from the hotel) as it was unsafe to leave it on the street and valet parking was $68 USD a night.

Nice property near everything. Parking too expensive on the property so we parked at a nearby parade that is patrolled. A car near us had their window smashed, so strongly recommend you take EVERYTHING out of your car when parking. We got there around 1300, but our room was not ready until after 1500. Check in is 1500, but we were hoping. The check in staff member wasn’t overly friendly and a bit aloof. The valet had to locate her in to help us. Room was clean and quiet. My first trip to Portland from Vancouver Island and I really enjoyed the city. I’ll certainly be back. We came down for the atmosphere and the Oregon State fair. People generally friendly. Occasional unhoused person approached, but no aggression. As a Canadian, it’s always tough to feel safe in any US city because you’re not sure people’s intentions but more so if they’re carrying a gun. Police visible, but foot patrols would make visitors feel safer. All in all a great time!

The associates at the desk were great on our way in and out. They were helpful for questions around the area. The valet was a great thing to keep the car off of the street. Great staff all around.

a good location Down -town Portland. The young man who checked me in was so nice. Everything was clean. The room was spacious with a couch for sitting. The bed was comfortable, the tub was big and had a good shower. Everything worked. All the components for a comfortable stay

They double charged my credit card for the hotel and claim no they didn’t whereas my credit card shows the double charge and I showed it to them. Then a lot of homeless people trying to take your stuff as we were loading and unloading. No parking nearby and the valet parking is $48 US each night and other parking spaces are where a lot of homelessness is. Hotel room was smelly and musty, there was other peoples garbage underneath the beds. The staff was unhelpful and not cooperative as they kept saying hour manager will fix it for 3 straight days

The hotel is in a very central location, we walked everywhere in the downtown area. There seemed to be good options for transit. There are endless amounts of food options, I highly recommend the food truck area right beside the hotel. Stafff were super friendly and courteous at every interaction. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff are very kind, and helped me well. It can be little more cleaner. On desk still had some sticky stain , shower curtain had little stains, but over all good stay. I'm sure, house keepers has a lots of rooms to clean everyday, and it's hard work. I was so happy to stay in safe place. We can walk everywhere to eat, shop and to waterfront. Sad thing is there are a lot of homeless people in town and I was asked few times money and food.
