A revolting experience
We have never stayed at a worse place. Dark, dirty and the worst hotel breakfast that we have ever tried to choke down. The phone in the room did not work and I had to walk down to the desk for toilet paper! The staff was completely checked out and this Days Inn is unfit to serve the public. How do they get away with this?

The property itself was fine for the price. Staff were pleasant, and helpful. Absolutely zero sound proofing. All night you could hear people in the next rooms, people in the halls like they were right next to you, traffic outside, airplanes… This property is best reserved for an overnight pitstop. Also, if the pool matters to you, it is comically small.

Days Inn by the Maine Mall was a good stay for the price. Check inn staff were very polite and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Plenty of convenient parking. Bed comfortable. Could occasionally hear people in the hallway and hwy traffic. Shower could stand to be caulked. Strangest thing was that we went back to our room to grab something during the day and the hotel room door was off its hinges and maintenance staff were in our room. It would have been nice to had a heads up they would be doing the work.

I appreciated the early check in and switch to a ground level room. The motel is what one can expect for the money. It is located in an area of town that is not really walkable, but shopping and chain restaurants are a close drive away. I was disappointed by the wifi. I got kicked off multiple times on different devices. The practical consequence was there was no ubereats delivery and just cable for late night entertainment.

Despite our 1:00 am arrival to the airport, a hotel shuttle was available to bring us to the hotel. On top of that, the driver was such a a friendly person that all in the shuttle has smiles on their faces.

Portland highway stopover
Positives, large enough room, reasonable rates , working ev chargers 1 ccs and 3 tesla destination chargers, convenient to the highway. Negative Washroom fan was very noisy, heat pump also noisy.
