The hotel was great and within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The only downside was the parking garage. I recommend the parking garage beside the hotel. The spaces were a lot wider and we never had an issue finding a space.

We had a nice stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed our room. The view from the ninth floor of the bay was amazing. The bed was quite comfortable. We appreciated the choice of pillows. The bathroom was a good size. We liked the Dove products used. The area around the hotel was great. We could walk to the main street for shops and restaurants. The Old Port area was also walkable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!

Centrally located. Walking distance to downtown, waterfront, west and east ends. Convenient to access many excellent restaurants, bakeries and cafes. Portland Art Museum is just across the street, which we enjoyed. Premium room we had was spacious and comfortable with two large windows, creating light and airy feel in the room. If it weren’t for other accommodations we had already, we would stay additional nights. Front desk staff was generally responsive and we had a nice housekeeping staff who tidied up our room nicely once when service was requested. The only improvement I suggest is to let guests know of complimentary tea and coffee upon check in. We only found out it half way through our stay and wish we knew about it earlier because it was nicer than in room coffee machine, which by the way did not work.
