The rooms are definitely older, but for the price and convenience it keeps me coming back. The only problem we ran into happened the morning of checkout. So I can't say much about their response other than they made sure to start the process for fixing it as soon as we told them. If you go during Kumoricon expect there to be little to no parking. If you are lucky enough to find a spot, stay there. The staff was super friendly, as always. I will be back next year.

The hotel is quite old, the room was ok, clean, but: THERE IS NO CLOSET! THERE ARE NO HANGERS FOR YOUR CLOTHES! The room was quite noisy when the tram went by (but I was able to sleep), the heater has a noisy fan and we can't turn off the fan. The staff was friendly. There was enough parking. The elevators are not totally clean.

Old and shabby. Noisy. Trains run all night and the rooms are not soundproofed. But if you need a place close to the MODA and have earplugs then it’s god value for money.

The hotel is in an excellent location right across from the convention center. All staff I interacted with were professional and courteous. The exterior is a bit worn and parts are in need of repair. Room was clean and fairly average in decor. With some finish upgrades it could earn another star.

This property is completely run down. I took photos of the outside of the property and it shows the disrepair of the exterior and the interior wasn't any better. It felt unsafe and it definitely needed some major renovation. It was unclean, and I wouldn't feel comfortable sleeping in the building. I went to a hotel a few blocks away and got a similar rate that included a beautiful hotel room, and a wonderful breakfast. Please look at other properties. I asked for a full refund.

This was a great location for us and we booked it based on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there a couple of years ago. In retrospect, we should have checked out the reviews more carefully. The hotel is in decline and is showing its age. The carpet and furniture was stained in multiple places, the shower leaked badly, one of the beds creaked loudly and the doors seemed poorly secured. While the cleaning staff were pleasant and did the best they could, the lack of maintenance showed in the hotel. The hotel Wi-Fi was terribly slow and sometimes non-functioning. Also, there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the air in the morning and evenings which makes me think that people were ignoring the no-smoking policy. On the positive side, the desk staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Overall, we wished that we had spent a little more money to get a more comfortable place for the time that we were there.

We like the convenience for the moda center however we were stuck on the train side of the hotel with no option to be relocated to the other side of the hotel. The train made it hard to have a good work environment. The staff are all very helpful and awesome.

Tara was great. The other individual when my vehicle was stolen was not helpful, actually obstructed getting help (camera views, calling police, etc.Tara can explain). Horrible, never recommend, never return.
