Its location made up for its shortcomings
While room was extremely simple even austere, the bed was comfortable, the shower pleasant, room had a small table with two chairs. Room was quite noisy but other guests quieted early. Downtown was walkable and restaurants, like Elephant’s within 2-3 blocks as well as grocery. No microwave, did have frig. Loved free parking. Hotel on edge of elegant Goose Hollow.

The park Lane suites staff were very responsive to needs. The room was very clean and both beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. I would definitely stay there again.

Park Lane Inn and Suites continue to be our most favorite place to stay, in Portland. My wife and I absolutely love it. The front office staff is very friendly , Mar and Garrett are always ready to assist . We only stay in the suite, and the room and facilities are excellent indeed. The location is also very convenient. I would strongly recommend Park Lane to everyone , looking for a great hotel experience in Portland, OR.

great location, very close to Washington Park, Rose Garden, Japanese garden and Zoo. close to downtown but not that close so it's very safe in the neighborhood. the hotel itself is outdated but very clean. with the price I think it's a decent place to stay.

The first thing i noticed when i opened the door to our room was how clean it smelled. I liked how they left us slippers to wear because the floor was wood-laminate (much preferred to carpet). And even though it was an older hotel everything worked properly, i.e. plumbing, electric, tv. The location of the hotel was great. Only a 15-20 minute walk from downtown, depending on where you want to go. Close enough to get to the restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., but far enough to not be in the middle of the chaos that came out at night. There is an awesome pizza place around the corner, (Pizza Kat), so good we ate there twice. Parking was not an issue, but because everything was so close, we just parked for two days straight. We will definitely stay here again, the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean and the location was great!
