Pleasant place to stay
Courteous check-in. Very nice breakfast spread. AC worked great. Central location to walking from Sao Bento Train Station and eating places. Stronger bathroom lighting would be nice. Allowed us to remove fridge snacks for our things to keep fresh.

It was centrally located. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was very affordable. Their breakfast offered gluten-free bread. There was a lot of street construction in the neighborhood.

A nice small friendly hotel
To start with I was allowed to check in slightly earlier which was a bonus. The rooms were fine - basic but adequate and the bathroom was clean & shower superb! Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and a big Thankyou to the ladies on reception who helped me purchase my Boavista match tickets online . The metro station Aliados is 5 mins walk away max. A bit hilly walking back from the river but I would definitely recommend this for a low cost stay

Weekend break in Porto
The hotel is in a quiet side street, just off one of the main squares in Porto. It is really handy to walk to nearly all the main tourist attractions, although we hadn’t realised Porto was so hilly. Very close to a couple of railway stations. Receptionists were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Rooms ok, beds comfy, where we were it was very quiet. Breakfast is help yourself. Good range of breads, pastries, yoghurts, cereals, not much cooked and a bit basic. Didn’t eat dinner there as there are hundreds of places to eat. Very enjoyable stay, lots to do in Porto.

The hotel is in a historical building and it has got very interesting architectural. The location of the hotel is great. It’s close to many restaurants and historical sites. The staff were fantastic. There were lot of selection of fresh fruits and hot food for breakfast. It will definitely recommend this hotel.

An "old school" hotel, full of character, with a helpful staff. Good breakfast available with limited hot option, but all very tasty. Rooms rather small by modern standards.
