Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The view from the rooms were lovely and the morning breakfast was extremely good. The property itself could use a little TLC but things were cleaned and extremely handy for touring the north side of sky
The breakfast each morning was amazing! 10 pounds per person and worth it. David and Lynn were friendly hosts. There’s a communal sitting area with a fireplace that we hung out at in the evenings where we were able to meet other guests from around the world. Overall it was a great stay!
great breakfast, great location but ultimately not worth £120 per night.
my biggest issue with this property is the parking. if you have a small car, easy! but we have a large car & getting through the small entrance & exit way was a difficulty every time plus the trust we put in the other guests to not hit our vehicle was large.
Our stay was wonderful! The location of Loch Eyre Guest House is stunning and no one could have been better hosts than Emily and Adam!

Quaint, limited services
Charming, quiet, and not far from town. A little hard to find using GPS, but owners send a detailed email on how to get there. Breakfast is only available for one hour, so if you need to sleep in past 9a you’ll have to find somewhere else. There is a co-op grocery about 10 min away for prepared food and such, but there are no facilities at Loch Eyre to prepare anything. Not even a microwave. That would be nice to see even if it were in the common room where there is a small apartment sized fridge to put drinks. I would stay here again and would recommend giving it a try. Photo is from the balcony attached to my room.
Absolutely Wonderful, Proprietors' very friendly, rooms comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. Breakfast excellent , also views across the loch, could not fault our stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a balcony overlooking the loch. Both the bedroom & bathroom were spotlessly clean. Friendly welcome and we appreciated the recommendations for food - we thoroughly enjoyed The Galley Cafe down the road!
