Electronic things did work well. No probems with opening the garage gate or room door. Problem - door from garage to hotel - was stuck. First we tought - it is locked. After applying more force we could open it, but this is not normal that I must break something to get in. Breakfest was pleasant with one exception - scrambled eggs was made on principe - more salt, less eggs.

Great big room for a family. It was a different check in procedure with only a code, and we never saw a worker the entire time we were there, even at the complimentary breakfast, (which was lovely). So that was kind of weird but it worked.

Pearl in ruff shell
Hotel did not look inviting from outside, but was really nice and clean inside. And sauna was in really good condition and very clean. Pros definetly from location, which is dead center of city and walking distance from old town.

Basic but pleasant stay for the business traveler
Stayed at this hotel with a colleague for a business trip. The hotel seems to used by business and work people working in the area but there are also other types of guest. The hotel is quiet but welcoming and the reception staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel is conveniently placed for Porvoo and the surrounding areas. The hotel does not provide evening meals but there are lots of eating places (for any budget) located nearby. Breakfast is provided inclusive as part of the room tariff. The breakfast is fine with good basic choices. The room and public areas were clean and serviced daily. This is not a luxury hotel but it is good for a traveler who wants a simple, comfortable and pleasant stay at a reasonable (for Finland) price. I would stay there again should I need to be in the Porvoo area.

Excellent location and friendly hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable and shower was brilliant. The sauna was a great place to relax. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of foods and plenty of healthy options.

nice central location, good breakfast
nice central location, quiet, underground parking is a tad narrow, walkable to all major attractions and a big supermarket close by. Buffet breakfast starts at 5:30 am in summer!

Hotel very central. Lovely big room overlooking main square. Made continental breakfast once in five mornings because breakfast finished 9 most mornings.
