Nice little spot. Could clean the rooms a bit better mind you. The cobwebs in the bathroom were a nice touch. But as it’s winter time and I’m sure it’s more of a summer place cause of the location all in all was very nice.

Our stay at Huron Horizons was fantastic! We spent the first week in November there, and we had a wonderful relaxing time. The cabin itself is beautiful, and the kitchen had nice pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, and appliances. They had every kitchen gadget we looked for, which was great. Also, this was the cleanest place we’ve ever rented. The windows have spectacular views of the lake, and the furniture was comfortable. We loved watching the sunsets over the lake from the chairs in front of the bay window in the living room. The fire pit area was very nice, and it’s just a few feet to walk to the shore from the back door of the cabin. We spent the whole week listening to the waves and star gazing at night, and we saw the Northern Lights on our last night there! This is easily the best place that we’ve ever rented.

Wendy is an amazing host! She was in communication with us before our stay and gave some great recommendations on hikes. She went above and beyond in preparing the space for our family—with treats and toys and entertainment that everyone enjoyed. The house is in an awesome location with a great backyard if you want to stay in, or several awesome spots within walking distance (Burns Beach is a 15 min walk and the Lumberjack Tavern is a 5 min walk). There are several great hikes within 15-20 min of the home that are good for all ages. We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again!
