Good hotel a bit away from the busy city centre.
Hotel is in a good location, on the opposite side of the river to the new and old city centres. Trams run past the door directly to the main train station (just have to walk through the park near the station). Breakfast is good. Standard room is quite small. Nice walk along the river to the Charles Bridge.

Overall, great location and just a couple of minutes away from the Church of Our Lady Victorious and The Infant Jesus of Prague. Do note that the rooms do not have air conditioning and the lifts are between floors.

Great location in city centre, 42 tour tram, directly below funicular and Praha Castle, 10 mins to Charles Bridge. Lower Town is away from tourist crowds but still surrounded by great food, traditional Pilsner pubs, Cantina & Natureza restaurants recommended. Hotel William provides a comprehensive hot and cold breakfast 7-10.30am. Standard EU rooms, super clean en suite. Big windows that open wide but no A/C; NB lower floors are cooler!

A wonderful location, friendly staff, clean rooms if a bit dated. No A/C but a large floor fan was provided which worked fine. Would have liked a separate shampoo/conditioner instead of 2-in-1 body wash but it's a very small complaint within an overall great expertience.

We stayed at this excellent and very memorable hotel for 1 night: 1 large family room, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 small dog, 1 car. The top floor room was simply huge: 1 king-size bed, 1 single bed, large bathroom with shower over bath. Plenty of towels, immaculate bedding. Breakfast was simply amazing. The staff were very helpful and professional, and friendly. The building is very old, but it's in excellent condition. We are glad we picked this hotel over a cookie-cutter main chain hotel - this hotel is full of character, 100% Praha. We paid 600kr for 24/7 monitored outdoor car park, just around the corner. And it's only a 5 minute walk to the Karluv bridge. The location is just perfect, only a short walk to all local tourist attractions. If we were to visit Prague again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again, without any hesitation.

Nice hotel in a beautiful old building right in the old city. My single room was tiny but comfortable and had everything I needed. Despite being on the first floor right over a busy street with tramways passing regularly, it was actually not very noisy and I slept well. I'm glad it wasn't too hot when I was there as there was no aircon and sleeping with the windows open would let in too much noise, although there was a fan in the room. Friendly staff and varied breakfast. Would stay again if the price is right.
