The hotel itself was good just it is so close to downtown and the dive bar there were multiple drug deals going on at just about any time of the day or night.

Rooms upgraded, others were downgraded
Since the name changed to Ocean view Prestige Hotel, rooms renovated and upgraded, however, no all front desk staff is friendly as it used to. Breakfast is dramatically downgraded, hardly to see anyone to cleanup the table and the basic supplies like coffee, eggs, juices, plates etc are not refill when it is empty.

We ended up booking a room with the prestige after deciding not to stay at the pacific inn, the prestige was a nice needed upgrade and place to relax. The beds were clean and comfy, the bathtub was deep. The wear, tear and age of the building is starting to show in some places. The paint could be updated in the rooms.

The area is beautiful when not looking out the windows. But overlooking other buildings was unpleasant. The hotel itself is very much improved with the upgrades/ renovations interior and exterior.
