There was construction but we were not bothered by it where we were staying. Room was dated but clean. We really enjoyed being put in the area where we could walk out into the common pool Terrace. It was nice for our group to enjoy the sun and have that space. They only service the room on a schedule, but I asked for an extra service during our stay and were quick to provide. Appreciated that immensely! The pedestrian detours were easy to understand. Thanks for the fun stay in downtown Halifax!

This property is in an ideal location in downtown Halifax - you can walk everywhere. It is an older building but has comfortable beds. The pool was great.

Great location and staff. The property could use a refresh. It’s a bit tired and worn. Elevator walls are lined in a fabric material that could use a major scrub or fabric removal. Whoever signed off on that design choice needs to be talked to! Lots of construction in the area. We were on the 7th floor, and the construction noise was inescapable due to poor windows. Easy access to the pedway. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Road construction makes it difficult to get in and out of the hotel. Other entrances lock up after certain hours and makes it hard to enter the hotel.

Great location. Great pool. Building, rooms and terraces are getting a bit tired and could use a reno, but the location for the price can’t be beat. Good quality food in the restaurant. Great staff!
