Take in a spectacular view perched on an elevated deck overlooking the water. We think you’ll appreciate the alluring ambiance of this quaint, well appointed cottage that has a lot of character. Sleep in a comfortable queen sized bed in the loft while a sofa bed is available in the main living area. Enjoy the comfort of a screened porch that’s designed to be “the best room in the house”! Bring your boat and use our ramp to put it in and dock it. You’ll have access to both electricity and water from the dock. The dock and the elevated deck are equipped with tables with umbrellas and cushioned chairs to provide you with comfort and all you need to settle in and enjoy the pleasures of being on a dock on a lake! Please note that we have 2 well behaved and adorable male Pomeranians that will be on the premise and that we will respect your willingness to interact with them or not.

The Essentials for a Great Stay
This quaint and cozy cottage is exactly as advertised. Sometimes, booking through these platforms can leave you a bit uneasy about the condition/location of a property until you get there. Well, I was extremely pleased with our stay! This trip was part of a surprise birthday getaway for my darling husband. It was a moment to pull him away from the city to enjoy peace and quiet. He enjoys fishing, so the convenience of the boat dock and lake right off the yard was a plus. And even though the weather was not conducive to fully enjoying the deck or fishing, we have zero complaints. It rained a couple of times during the weekend f or stay. But the covered porch, portable heater, and lounge furniture made watching the rain over the lake therapeutic.Stan met us upon arrival to greet us and offered assistance with anything we may have needed during our stay. They did not bother us at all, even though they live right next door. We chatted in passing periodically but my husband and I were able to enjoy their beautiful space seemingly exclusively. I even appreciated the thoughtful refreshments water, coffee and creamer upon arrival. The loft is super cute but caution...it is a loft for a reason, lol. I am about 5'8 and I was able to stand straight in the tallest portion of the loft area. However, this wasn't the case for my husband. So, if you are on the taller side, be mindful of how you are moving around up there. Stan/Patti, thanks for everything :)

I had such a beautiful stay at this lovely cottage. It's so homey and warm, the view of the lake is amazing! Between the amenities, the large Windows pouring in light and the beautiful decor, you can tell that so much Thoughtfulness and love was put into this home. I was lucky enough to meet the neighbors and they are amazing salt of the earth people! Definitely coming back! 10 out of 10 stay! ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Swanee cottage! Patti and Stan were absolutely amazing hosts, so kind and hospitable. They truly made us feel welcome in their home. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept and the docks on the lake were so relaxing! We couldn’t have had a better experience. Amazing place!
This property is adorable. We had everything we needed. The hosts were the most accommodating people ever! The house was spotless! The front screened porch was amazing. We could not possibly have hoped for a better trip. A weekend is just too short. We would love a winter booking but not sure if they rent in the wintertime. Wonderful people! Wonderful place!

We enjoyed our stay; and the owners with all of their special little touches to the cottage and the atmosphere made it difficult to leave. They provided floats and kayaks that we all enjoyed. Our girls loved playing with Ozzie and Odie. Patti and Stan were so friendly and we loved spending time with them. We even found out we have some mutual friends. We hope to return soon.

Perfect cottage with boat ramp and dock
This place was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy her 60th birthday! Pam loves to bass fish and the ramp, dock and easy electrical plug ins made so easy to enjoy it all. Very safe for our equipment and the hosts Patti and Stan were super friendly! She even had birthday signs up for us!

Great spot and wonderful hosts!
This was a great cottage for our little family of 4. The hosts were very friendly and even took us on a boat ride, which our kids enjoyed so much! The house had everything we needed- and we really appreciated all of the little extras in the kitchen that we forgot to bring.

We were in town for a bass tournament. Stan and Patti are awesome! Check in was a breeze and communication was top-notch! Property is great with everything you could ever need! Plenty of parking space for a truck and bass boat. Absolutely beautiful setting with great sitting areas with great views and very peaceful.
