Beautiful hotel and location. Even on the rainiest of days they had great activities! Only thing to note, there are A LOT of smokers, so if you are looking for a smoke free accommodation maybe look somewhere else!

Had a great stay at BlueBay Villas Doradas. The staff was excellent. Food options were perfect for us. The a la carte dinner were great, except for the Italian dinner. That was a huge disappointment. Everything else was very nice. Our bed was comfortable, and we rested well. One other negative was the entertainment. It was boring. The staff should make an effort to engage with tge guests more. Have guests participate and get rid of Mexican night. This is the DR! There is plenty of great music and entertainment to energize an audience. Besides that, this is nice resort to spend a few nights.

Disappointing Stay at BlueBay Resorts. I won’t be returning to BlueBay Resorts due to several issues. The rooms are outdated and in need of upgrades, but the biggest concern is the safety of the floors. When wet, they become dangerously slippery, and I saw multiple guests fall. The entire resort, including the flooring, needs to be renovated to prevent accidents. I hope management addresses these issues, but I won’t be back.

The beach is nice but a murky color, not the clear blue. Close walk to beach from entire resort . Very run down accommodations . We had very little space for our things and had to just leave clothes in suitcase. Shower broken. Lots of mildew. You can walk 3. 5 km on beach. No snorkeling . Little beach bar was very nice, great chicken and nachos very day. Staff are lovely

This is our second time staying at Blue Bay. We love the atmosphere, the staff are amazing and the food is really good. Place needs a little upgrade but that’s in the process of being done. It’s a great place to meet people and relax. Looking forward to going again.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Blue Bay. The check-in process was unnecessarily time-consuming, as they insisted on matching my signature to my ID, which felt completely irrelevant—this is a hotel, not a bank or immigration office! It was a waste of time right from the start. The front desk staff, especially Manolo, were not helpful at all. Instead of offering solutions to issues that the property caused, he was completely indifferent and unprofessional. At checkout, they made us wait unnecessarily just to return the key and bracelet. We're tourists, not thieves—we’re not trying to take anything from the hotel! The hotel itself is very old and poorly maintained, which only added to the frustration. The service was the worst I've experienced, and I would highly advise against staying here. You’ll end up wasting your time and money. I would never return and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
