Firstly, the hotel is situated in the town. Very close to some nice restaurants. However, wifi absolutely sucks here, not only are you limited to the lobby to get wifi but you are also limited to the lobby or the stairs to get cellphone signal on your phone. The overall facilities could improve as there is literally a bed, tv, towel, a pitcher and two drinking glasses, a desk and chair in the room.
I would have rated the staff higher had I not had a bad experience with one staff member. She literally lied to me about the cost of transportation when I just got there, she told me that one trip less than a kilo was 250 - 300 pesos when in reality its no more than 40 pesos and actually the residents pay 10 pesos. To add insult to injury, I asked her for recommendations for a good seafood place which she recommended and called a "tricycle" for me. They seemed to be working together because he told me the same figure that she said. She also charged me twice for early checking, after I had paid for it upon my arrival with cash, she placed it on my bill again. I told the hotel all of this when checking out but given that I don"t know what will happen I think people should be aware and be on their guards. The other staff members were very good, they were helpful, friendly and provided good recommendations when asked.
The breakfast was pretty much the same for the entire trip, that definitely needs to change because it gets quite boring, especially if you stay for long periods.
