Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent. We had an ocean view room that was spacious. The balconies and beach lounge areas are nice (note that you must pay cash for any drinks). The internet in our room was acceptable (but only seems to work in the room). Cons: The check-in and out can be a bit painful. You need to go up to your room with an attendant and then need to bring remote controls back down at the end of the stay (They didn't tell us to do this). The pool is a bit crowded and not relaxing. The decour and lighting in the rooms is terrible. My partner called it "Prison-chic".

I need to start by saying that this hotel is ideally located right on the beach and in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta. I would stay here again, however, would need to check accommodations better in the future.

While the hotel is old and could use updating, the beach and pools are great. It is accessible to many shops and restaurants and is located in the heart of the zona romantica. It’s also a short walk to the Malecon and to the old city. The hotel is good value for the cost.

No WiFi in our room. The only way to get ice was to take the pitcher down to the bar and they would begrudgingly give you some ice. If you didn’t have the pitcher, they would charge you. The front desk lady got ad at us for her coworkers action. They gave us an extra key and she acted like it was our fault. And she made the whole experience terrible.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish, always making sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very well maintained. One of our favorite parts was the easy beach access — such a beautiful and relaxing spot — along with the pool area, which was perfect for unwinding during the day. Highly recommend!
