This property was ok, just ok. The food was average (buffet items were often cold) the service was fair (room service got order wrong, often felt ignored at restaurants by waiters). Did not like the sales pitch upon checkin for timeshare like opportunity. There was construction happening everywhere on grounds, which I must have missed or it wasn’t communicated. The setting was beautiful so there’s that. All in, it was fine.

Our fist time in hotel ziva Puerto Vallarta and it was fantastic. The hotel is very clean. The food is very good with lots of different food choices . The staff are amazing and made sure we were always taking care of. During our stay we had the pleasure to meet Damon and Fernanda, representatives for the Playa collection. Fernanda and Damon are so friendly and easy to talk to. Damon even went above and beyond to help us ship a package back home. We are so glad to have met such good people. We will definitely be back.

Staff was very nice and pleasant. Brenda (the lady that books the dinner reservations) is very nice. They took good care of us. The food is exceptional and they are not stingy on the alcohol beverage's. The lights went out three times for a short period of time but, definitely not a deal breaker.
