Just OK. Good for young adults that just want to drink and party. Cleanliness and customer service is at a minimal. You have to fight for seats at the main pool. Our swim up pool “jucuzzi” area was dirty filled with bugs. Expect for little to NO AC and a bunch of mosquito bites as you sleep in your room. Paper thin walls allows you to hear all the drunks pass by. Got a deep tissue massage and that was the only best thing throughout our experience. Overall experience was ehhh OK, would NOT return.

Live Aqua is such a beautiful resort. It's not too big. Everything is walkable which is very convenient. The staff at Live Aqua were very accommodating and so friendly. The Fuego Suite had an incredible view of the resort and ocean. There is construction so if you are on the outer part of the hotel, the view might not be as nice. We loved the buffet breakfast and lunch at Huzur was the best, the ribs mouthwatering and also their seafood by the sea option. Pina Coladas, Mojitos, hand-crafted passion fruit cocktails, shots of tequila and brugal were all wonderful drinks and didn't feel watered down. The beach views and pool made you feel like you were in a postcard. We loved everything.

Live Aqua was amazing from the beach to the pool to the dining options. When you first walk in, you can smell the aromatherapy. It is a lot if you have a sensitive nose. Everyone at Live Aqua were very accommodating and so friendly. We will definitely be coming back. We had a beautiful swim-up overlooking the pool. There is construction so if you are on the outer part of the hotel, the view might not be as nice. We loved the buffet breakfast and lunch at Huzur was the best, the ribs mouthwatering.Our butlers Ivan and Jonathan were also very helpful during our stay.

This was my first experience at an all inclusive resort. It exceeded my expectations in all aspects. The staff were very friendly and were more than willing to help at all times. Would recommend to others and will be visiting again in the future.

Food was excellent. However there was no dinner or lunch buffet. Lunch and dinner were both a la carte at the restaurants. The rooms are stunning, clean, and you get complimentary flip flops, slippers, and a cute beach bag. There’s also a jacuzzi tub on the balcony in most rooms which was great. They had a few good shows including a magician, a fire show, and a Micheal Jackson show. Lots of parties too and some events going on during the day. (Cooking and mixology classes, rum and cigar tasting). Property was beautiful. Very serene and lots of greenery. There are 4 chill pools that are very relaxing and a main party pool right off the beach. The beach was very clean too. There’s also a shopping complex a 5 min walk away. The restaurant and wait service was hit and miss. Very dependant on who you were waited on by. The waiter Manuel at chez rose and huzur was by far the best. Very attentive and quick and provided exceptional service. Overall would come again!

While the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, our expectations were off based on other reviews and YouTube videos. Everywhere you went, there's always a staff member to help you. Having a translation app is helpful for a few instances, but not always needed. The grounds were well taken care of and adequate for the most part. Food choices were there, but the quality was lacking significantly. My wife and I don’t usually eat fast food, but the Wendy's at the airport was more flavorful than anything that was provided at the resort. The food was very bland. The cleanliness of the room was ok for the most part. Yet if you are actively looking for the dirt as a neat freak, you will find it. The outdoor furniture, jacuzzi, and showerheads needed the most attention in regard to the cleanliness. The one thing that I was not prepared for at all was the timeshare/membership presentation that they attempted. I did not want nor cared for any presentations on my vacation. This was an inconvenience with having the hard sell on vacation memberships and repeated "No's". The gift for sitting through the presentation also required you to make a purchase just to receive a 2 for 1 discount at the spa. I do not like my time to be wasted after I already purchased my vacation time. Lastly, I've read reviews about this being a quiet place. This place is everything but quiet. There's always a party or event going on, so bring your noise canceling headphones (preferably over the ear).

Not my first time at the Live Aqua Punta Cana, many things have changed since my last visit, the room wasn’t as clean as it was before, the food was just ok, the entertainment team needs to improve, the shows are not good. ( the fire show is basically the best show). The played the same 7 songs day and night, for the six days that I was there, at the main pool and disco. The staff at the Live Aqua is extraordinary, professional and very courteous, they make our vacation so much better. Guys at the Miraflores and French restaurant are amazing,10/10 in hospitality.

We recently had an unforgettable stay at Live Aqua in the Dominican Republic and are already planning to return with our family! The resort’s breathtaking beauty, from its lush tropical surroundings to its pristine beaches, was incredible, but what truly made our experience special was the exceptional staff and outstanding hospitality. Adrianna, our sales representative, was warm and welcoming, ensuring every detail of our trip was perfect. Eric, our butler, went above and beyond to make our stay stress-free, anticipating our needs and adding special touches throughout. Santos, our liaison upon arrival, answered every question with a smile and set the tone for an amazing stay. The food was phenomenal, with every meal exceeding expectations. However, the daily entertainment by Angel, Tanayri, and Jose truly stole the show. Their energy and enthusiasm made every night fun and unforgettable—they were the life of the party and brought so much joy to our stay. Juan from room service also deserves praise for his professionalism and friendly demeanor, ensuring we were always comfortable and well taken care of. Live Aqua was everything we hoped for and more. From the stunning views to the world-class service, it was a dream vacation we’ll always remember. Thank you, Live Aqua, for an incredible experience—we can’t wait to return with our loved ones!

Live Aqua hasn't yet seen it's full potential!
This recent visit, with 7 friends was great! Tons of activities and entertainment that were all optional of course, but all very enjoyable. Including but not limited to things like outdoor parties right outside of the main lobby, a foam party at the main pool, and a cigar class. The only activity we didn't really enjoy was the magic show. Quite possibly the worst magic I've ever seen. Sadly not an exaggeration. Anyway, there were great drinks to be found just about everywhere, including in the amazing little coffee shop! The coffee shop was easily my most visited place during our visit. Though there were a bunch of restaurants (sports bar, Italian, French, hibachi, Mexican, Mediterranean, 24hr room service etc) the food was VERY subpar 80% of the time. Italian and the food service at the main pool were the favorites among my group. Tons of pool options. The main pool with swim up bar and activities, along with other, smaller pools with quieter more chill vibes. The main pool also has super easy beach access. The property is beautiful and kept very clean along with well kempt landscaping. There are other random accomodations (getting room service to change the aromatherapy of your room or requesting different type of pillows with different functions) as well. Room cleaning along with turndown service was great! Not all laundry was 100% white. Found more than one stained (though washed) towel or washcloth. Live Aqua is young. Live Aqua is good. Give them time to become GREAT!
