I was at The Dairy twice. 3 nights before my Routeburn Track and 2 nights after. It's one of the loveliest places I have stayed at. Excellent staff, comfortable bed, 24 hour access to tea, coffee and snacks, as part of stay. A happy hour between 5 and 6 p.m. and decor that is subtle, yet warm. A 2 minute walk down to the heart of Queenstown. - super convenient to everything. I highly recommend The Dairy.

Super comfortable, nicely decorated room. Great location, really central but also peaceful. Beautiful views. Staff were amazing, helpful, and went the extra mile. Loads of special touches like the happy hour, pick and mix etc that make you feel so welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend
I travel a lot and honestly one of the nicest places I have stayed. it's quirky, different but in the best way. Excellent service, you feel very special and very spoilt. I am definitely heading back there in winter. Hotel has amazing fireplace and can't wait to chill, read a book with a glass of wine. Oh and FYI, first review ever, thats how much I loved this place.

This hotel is not cheap, the location is great. Cleanliness is good, but unfortunately because it’s an old building, the walls are thin, and the people in the adjoining room felt the need to play the television full volume in the middle of the night and when I texted the on-call manager, nobody responded.

Convenient and quaint
Great location for first visit to Queenstown. Just a few minutes to ski bus and Orbus to and from airport. Hot tub was the best part.
