Enjoyed staying at Makaira resort. Second time staying here and definitely will visit again if I get another chance to visit Taveuni!

What an amazing hidden gem. The location and the property is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us. All communication was quick and helpful. Robert and Vinna were excellent property managers and offered assistance when we needed. The island itself is beautiful (so many butterflies and birds!). Top food recommendation is Kai Time - their food is delicious.

We had a lovely time staying at this resort, so perfect, relaxing and beautiful. The staff were all exceptional, kind and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back to this lovely resort and beautiful island.

Although the place may not be opulent, it’s clean convenient and perfectly livable. The bed was great Knox and Kalera are gold. If you want a real experience of feature island life, you just couldn’t do better. We look forward to coming back someday.

This was the best stay of our 3-week trip!! The hosts were so helpful & communicative from the beginning stages of renting their gorgeous place. Then the welcome was genuine and warm, the continental breakfasts each morning were lovely, the house was super, and the view was stunning!! It was high bank water front but easy access onto a relatively private beach. It was just paradise!! We will return!
