A traditional Tuscan farmhouse in expansive grounds and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, Casa Ceperano has been tastefully restored to a high standard to create flexible accommodation for up to 14 guests. It’s a great option for mixed parties of families or friends who wish to base themselves in the rural heart of the Chianti region, yet is within walking distance of the lively town of Radda and an easy day trip from Siena, Florence and San Gimignano.
Furnished in a comfortable, traditional style, the property is made up of four different apartments combined to provide a huge summer holiday home with lots of space, including three living areas and cosy bedrooms distributed across two storeys. Three separate kitchens mean all dining tastes and timetables can be catered for and once you’ve rustled up a delicious meal, you just need to choose where to eat. You’ll be spoilt for choice – there are several furnished terraces and a bamboo-shaded pergola with superb views. The private pool, set in a fenced, lawned area a few hundred metres from the house, is the ideal place to lie on a lounger and contemplate your luck, while children splash around nearby.

Our Thoughts
Ceperano offers the ultimate in flexible accommodation for mixed groups such as multigenerational families, sets of friends or a number of couples. Five of its bedrooms can be either doubles or twins, there are plenty of bathrooms, and there are a number of independent entrances to the various adjoining apartments that are combined to make Ceperano in high season.
Notes
Seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, one en-suite. The attic suite is reached via a steep ladder staircase and has an adjoining door to the neighbouring apartment, Uva. Outside high season, Ceperano can be booked as three separate apartments, two of which – Girasole and Uva – can interconnect if required. The third, Limoni, has a separate entrance. There is a studio on the ground floor, which has separate access. The track on which you can reach Radda in about five minutes is very steep and is not suitable for buggies or people with walking difficulties. The village can also be reached on foot using the road – about 2km.
Pool
The pool is about 300 meters from the villa, with paved and lawned surround. The water can be accessed via metal steps at both ends and there is a diving board at the deep end. There is a shower and the pool area is fenced.
Pool size: 12 mx 5m, 1-2.5m deep. Open from mid-May to September, weather permitting.
